We introduced “QUEST: Co-Creation × Innovation” a global program spearheaded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to support bold, collaborative ideas tackling today’s most pressing social issues. Now, the program is entering its final stage.

On July 31, the top 20 selected teams will present their impact-driven projects to a global audience and you can be part of it.

A Quick Recap of “QUEST 2025”

In short, QUEST is more than just a competition. It’s a platform that brings together change agents from across sectors — private companies, NGOs, universities, government bodies to co-create solutions that make a real-world difference.

This year, ideas were accepted from around the world until June 23, drawing submissions from students, researchers, civil society groups, public institutions, and startups alike. The goal? To find practical, innovative responses to complex social challenges.

To strengthen these collaborations, the program hosted two Matching Events in Tokyo and Nagoya, where participants explored potential partnerships and refined their ideas through exchange and expert feedback.

Meet the Finalists

Out of hundreds of applicants, 20 teams have made it to the final round. On July 31, they’ll pitch their ideas in a public showcase, but only 10 teams will be selected to move forward.

These finalists will receive mentoring from Deloitte experts to further shape their business models, strategic direction, and real-world implementation plans. They’ll also gain support to run a Proof of Concept (PoC), backed by up to 3 million yen in funding.
